Two ladies and a man , all wearing a hat , portrayed in The Netherlands more than 80 years ago

# Picture of my mother MARIA PAULINA TEN WOLDE , flanked by her foster-parents , the married couple LOKKERBOL - VAN DRONGELEN .

This picture was taken in the twenties , in or around the year 1925 , in their hometown The Hague / Den Haag , in the country of the Netherlands .
My mother's foster-father already died in the year 1944 , still in the midst of the second world war , her foster-mother however much much later , in the year 1976 , at the age of 93 .

And how about my mother herself ?? Well , she was born in the last year of the first world war , which makes her a woman 'more or less' stricken in age by now , and yes she has already been celebrating her 90th birthday ánd even her 91st birthday , bút .... she certainly is still very much alive and kicking (!) , really like a young playful filly foal in a green meadow ........
